Malaysian shares pared losses on Tuesday to close in the green zone after a volatile trading session.
The benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI, the main gauge of Malaysian stocks, gained 4.32 points to end 0.27% higher at 1,629.79. The day range was between 1,624.50 and 1,634.271.
In corporate news, ACE Market-bound CBH Engineering said its initial public offering (IPO) was oversubscribed by 34.21 times. The company offered 94.1 million shares to the public at 0.28 ringgit apiece.
Shares of ITMAX System (KLSE:ITMAX) gained about 3% on Tuesday's close after it bagged a deal worth 11.8 million ringgit from the Pulau Pinang city council for the upgrading and maintenance of a selection of close circuit camera (CCTV) systems.
Shares of T7 Global (KLSE:T7GLOBAL) closed 2% higher after its unit Tanjung Offshore Services secured an award to provide maintenance, construction and modification (MCM) services from Carigali Hess.
