Macquarie Group's Asset Management Unit Completes Minority Investment in US-Based Energy Company

Macquarie Group's (ASX:MQG) Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) division completed a minority investment in renewable energy firm DESRI, aimed at expanding its access to renewable energy, the companies said in a joint statement Monday.

The investment, made through several MAM-managed funds, will support DESRI's expansion in the utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage sectors across the US, the companies said.

Shares of Macquarie Group rose nearly 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
