Air China's (HKG:0753, SHA:601111) passenger capacity grew 11% year over year to about 29 billion available seat kilometers in December 2024, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Passenger count jumped 11% to around 12 million during the month.

Cargo capacity grew 19% year on year to 1.16 billion available freight tonne-kilometers, while cargo carried increased 18% to 137,853 tonnes, the filing said.

Shares gained nearly 3% during Thursday's morning trading in Hong Kong.
