BlackSky Technology was chosen as one of the vendors in a $200 million geospatial intelligence project for the government.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency chose BlackSky as one of its vendors for the Luno B commercial data contract. Luno B is designed to provide geospatial intelligence for war fighters, policymakers and mission partners, according to the company.

The contract is indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, where vendors compete on a full and open basis for future delivery orders.
