The AFL integrity unit is investigating a lewd photo posted on Carlton president Luke Sayers’ account on social media platform X as criticism of the club’s slow response to the scandal grows.
The former chief executive of consulting giant PwC and co-founder of Sayers Group said the post made last Wednesday night was due to a hack. The post contained a picture of a penis and tagged the account of a female executive at health insurer Bupa, which is a sponsor of the Carlton football team.
