Laramide Resources (ASX:LAM) reported assay results from its 2024 drilling program at its Westmoreland uranium project in Queensland returned significant uranium mineralization with further gold mineralization evident at some sites, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The results included an intercept of five meters at 2,053 parts per million triuranium octoxide and 0.58 grams per tonne grade of gold from a depth of 34.5 meters, including 3.7 meters at 2,751 ppm triuranium octoxide and 0.81 g/t of gold, the filing said.
The results will contribute to an updated mineral resource estimate scheduled for delivery in the first quarter, according to Rhys Davies, the firm's vice president for exploration.
