KMD Brands' Total Sales Fall in Five Months Ended December 2024

KMD Brands (ASX:KMD, NZE:KMD) reported a 2.5% drop in group sales for the five months to December 2024 after a 5.8% decline in the fiscal first quarter ended October and a 1.7% gain in the fiscal second quarter ended December, according to a Friday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.

Sales from the Rip Curl brand fell 2.9% during the period, while those from the Oboz brand declined 7.7% year to date, the filing said.

The company expects its first-half underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization to range from NZ$1 million to NZ$3 million.

KMD Brands' shares rose past 2% in recent Friday trade in New Zealand and gained over 1% in Australia.
