Power Root (KLSE:PWROOT) received a writ of summons and statement of claim from EXIM Bank, demanding 7.4 million in claims from the company.
The lender filed claims related to money remitted under two insurance policies, according to a Wednesday Malaysian bourse filing.
The company denied the claims and does not expect any immediate financial impact. The legal matter is scheduled for case management on Feb. 3, the filing said.
