BUZZ-HK shares of People's Insurance at 11-week high on robust earnings outlook

** Shares of The People's Insurance Company (Group) of China Ltd 1339.HK rise 3.8% to HK$4.11, their highest since Nov. 12, 2024, and on course for the third consecutive session of gains

** The Chinese insurance group estimates its 2024 net profit to increase between 75% and 95% Y/Y to 39.85-44.41 bln yuan ($5.48-$6.11 bln)

** Shanghai-listed stock 601319.SS adds 1.3% to 7.25 yuan, highest since Jan. 2

** Hang Seng Commerce & Industry Index .HSNC gains 0.7%, the index tracking financials stocks .HSCIF adds 0.2% and Hang Seng Index .HSI climbs 0.5%

** Hong Kong-listed stock jumped 61.3% last year, while Shanghai shares rose 57.4%
