DEBT

The Italian Treasury said on Monday it would sell up to 9 billion euros ($9.44 billion) of bonds at a Jan. 30 auction.

On Tuesday the Treasury sells up to 5.5 billion euros of new BTP Short and BTPei bonds. Subscriptions close at 1000 GMT.

COMPANIES

MONTE DEI PASCHI BMPS.MI, MEDIOBANCA MDBI.MI

Mediobanca's board will meet on Monte dei Paschi's takeover offer at 0930 GMT.

The discount to market prices represented by MPS's bid for Mediobanca widened further on Monday, signalling deepening investor doubts over the bailed out Tuscan bank's offer for a bigger rival.

After the Italian state's sale of most of its stake in MPS the bank is no longer restricted by European Union state aid rules in its bid for Mediobanca, an EU Commission spokesperson said on Monday, according to ANSA and other Italian news agencies.

(*) Mediobanca CEO Alberto Nagel is looking for another leading investment bank to work with Equita as advisers on MPS's bid, daily la Repubblica reported on Tuesday.

Citigroup on Tuesday cut its rating on the bank to 'neutral' from 'buy' and raised target price to 6.35 euros from 6 euros. Deutsche Bank cut its rating to 'hold' from 'buy' and its target price to 7.5 euros from 7.9 euros.

ENEL ENEI.MI

The Italian utility and U.S. private equity group KKR are among potential bidders for Britain-based Cubico Sustainable Investments, people with knowledge of the process said on Monday.

STELLANTIS STLAM.MI

John Elkann, the chairman of the Franco-Italian carmaker, will address parliament's lower house industry committee on March 19 to outline the group's plans in Italy, the panel's president said on Monday.

DE NORA DNR.MI

The Italian electro-chemical company said on Monday it had signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia-based ACWA Power to study, develop and apply new solutions for water desalinisation.

Leonardo and France's Airbus AIR.PA and Thales TCFP.PA could disclose in the coming weeks details of the European satellite venture they are working on, Corriere della Sera reported on Tuesday.

The Serie A club have signed Portugal defender Renato Veiga on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season, it said on Monday.

IPO

Italian luxury logistics company Ferrari Group said on Monday it aimed to list on the Amsterdam stock exchange via an initial public offering expected in the coming weeks.

Italian fashion group Only The Brave $(OTB.UK)$, former Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri and investment fund Permira are considering a bid for fashion group Versace, which has been put for sale by its parent Capri Holdings CPRI.N, daily La Stampa reported on Tuesday. The sale agreement is "at an advanced stage", it added.

Hong Kong-based investment firm Blue Pool Capital has bought a 12% stake in Golden Goose Group, the Italian luxury sneaker brand said on Tuesday.
