Shanghai Southchip Semiconductor Technology (SHA:688484) plans to acquire electronic information technology services provider Zhuhai Shengsheng Microelectronics for 160 million yuan, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange disclosure on Jan. 22.

After the transaction, Shengsheng Microelectronics will become a fully owned subsidiary of the Chinese e-commerce platform for semiconductors, the disclosure said.
