Kingsrose Mining (ASX:KRM) reported that it discovered high-grade mineralization at its projects in Norway and Finland under alliances funded by BHP (ASX:BHP), according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
It discovered high-grade copper in polymetallic copper-gold-platinum group elements sulfide veins in the Porsanger and Virdnechokka areas within the Finnmark nickel-copper-platinum-palladium project in Norway.
Rock chips taken from the Porsanger area, included a highlight of 29.7% copper, 1.1 grams per tonne grade of gold, 53 g/t silver, 0.54 g/t palladium, 0.02 g/t platinum.
It will begin regional-scale helicopter-borne electromagnetic surveys in February.
It also discovered zones of outcropping mineralization at the Rehula target within its Central Finland nickel-copper project, including 0.46% grade of copper, 110 parts-per-million of cobalt, and 0.03 g/t palladium.
It conducted 4,980 line kilometers of drone and ground magnetic surveys at the Haapajarvi reservation and collected 795 soil samples and 87 rock chip samples at the Haapajarvi and Suonenjoki reservations.
