On a per-share basis, the Tel Aviv, Israel-based company said it had net income of $2.30. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $2.70 per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 13 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.66 per share.
The data security company posted revenue of $703.7 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Thirteen analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $698.2 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $845.7 million, or $7.46 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.57 billion.
