Liquidity Services (LQDT) said Monday it has acquired Auction Software/Simple Auction Site, to form the core of the newly launched Liquidity Services Software Solutions, a software-as-a-service arm.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Liquidity Services said it does not expect the acquisition to impact its overall financial results.
Simple Auction Site provides auction platform services in the sports collectibles and fine wine sectors.
Liquidity Services said it will retain Auction Software/Simple Auction Site's employees.
