BrightView (BV) Reports Q4: Everything You Need To Know Ahead Of Earnings

Landscaping service company BrightView (NYSE:BV) will be reporting earnings tomorrow after the bell. Here’s what you need to know.

BrightView beat analysts’ revenue expectations by 0.7% last quarter, reporting revenues of $728.7 million, down 2% year on year. It was a slower quarter for the company, with a significant miss of analysts’ EPS estimates.

This quarter, analysts are expecting BrightView’s revenue to decline 1.8% year on year to $615.7 million, improving from the 4.5% decrease it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $0.04 per share.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings. BrightView has missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates six times over the last two years.

Looking at BrightView’s peers in the environmental and facilities services segment, only Tetra Tech has reported results so far. It beat analysts’ revenue estimates by 8.6%, delivering year-on-year sales growth of 17.9%. The stock was down 2.9% on the results.
