Outfront Media named board member Nick Brien as interim chief executive, succeeding Jeremy Male, the veteran leader of the billboard company who is retiring.
Board member Michael Dominguez will replace Brien as chairman, said the New York-based company. Both Brien and Dominguez's tenures will begin on Monday, Feb. 10.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Brien has served on the board of the company, formerly known as CBS Outdoor, since 2016. Brien has also served as chief executive of digital-advertising firm Amobee and Japanese ad agency Dentsu. Brien worked as an executive in other ad agencies such as Publicis, McCann Worldgroup, and IPG Mediabrands.
"Nick brings a perfect balance of marketing strategy, business acumen, and expertise in ad tech and digital innovation, making him the ideal leader for Outfront during this important transition," said Dominguez, the incoming chairman.
Dominguez, who works for investment firm Providence Equity Partners, has sat on the board since 2020, according to Outfront's Web site.
