Timken India (NSE:TIMKEN, BOM:522113) recorded a rise in its net profit after tax to 743.1 million Indian rupees in the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, against 675.3 million rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share came in at 9.88 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 8.98 rupees, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the bearing manufacturer.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q3 increased to 6.7 billion rupees from 6.1 billion rupees a year earlier.
Shares of the company were down over 2% in recent trade.
