Winsome Resources (ASX:WR1) reported a new high-grade lithium discovery at the Sirmac-Clapier project in Canada, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The assays associated with channel sampling of outcrop confirmed lithium mineralization with grades of up to 3% lithium oxide, along with associated cesium and tantalum mineralization.
The results included a highlight of 26 meters at 2.69% grade of lithium oxide, 1.12% grade of cesium oxide, and 401 parts per million grade of tantalum pentoxide.
It will carry out further work including further mapping and drill testing within the year.
The firm's shares rose past 3% on market close on Thursday.
