The Yokohama Rubber Co. (TYO:5101) finalized the acquisition of Goodyear's mining and construction machinery tire business, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The Japanese tire maker said the move strengthens its off-highway tire segment under its medium-term growth plan, Yokohama Transformation 2026.
The company plans to consolidate the acquired business from the first quarter of 2025.
