News Corp. (ASX:NWS) reported Thursday that its adjusted earnings per diluted share in the fiscal second quarter rose to $0.33, from $0.27 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting diluted EPS of $0.29.
Revenue for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was $2.24 billion, up 5% from $2.14 billion in the same period a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected $2.17 billion.
The board declared an interim dividend of $0.10 per share, unchanged from the previous reported period, payable on April 9 to shareholders on record as of Mar. 12.
