Aurumin (ASX:AUN) kickstarted a reverse-circulation drilling program at its Central Sandstone project in Western Australia as part of its exclusive option agreement with Newcam Mineral, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The 54-hole, 2,000-meter program aims to test seven priority targets and is being conducted by Newcam as part of due diligence, the filing said.
Newcam is assessing whether it will exercise its option to form a joint venture for the iron ore rights held on certain granted mining leases, per the filing.
