LG Electronics (KRX:066570) completed the expansion of its research headquarters at the LG Sciencepark in Seoul, adding four new buildings, Pulse News reported Tuesday.
The site now houses 10 research facilities and over 10,000 employees from key divisions, including the chief technology officer division, the home appliance solution unit, the media entertainment unit, and the vehicle solutions unit, the report said.
Shares of LG Electronics rose nearly 2% in recent trade on Wednesday.
