1050 ET - Bombardier CEO says the company would have plenty of time to react in the case that U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods are introduced, which would include its business jets. Currently, about 50% to 60% of plane deliveries go to U.S. customers, but Eric Martel says on a media call that "the good news is we wouldn't have to react very quickly. We're going to have time." While he doesn't specify the company's plan if tariffs are in fact imposed, he says "we'll have time to understand what tariffs mean," especially around the details of what is taxed and how they will work and adjusted accordingly.
