The Hong Kong Insurance Authority granted Singapore-based insurer KoverNow an official license to operate in Hong Kong, allowing the insurer to open its digital insurance app, according to a blog entry by KoverNow.
Consumers will be able to download the app on iOS and Android, the company said.
KoverNow Hong Kong Managing Director John Trotter said the company has been preparing for the launch while waiting for regulatory approval, Hong Kong Business reported separately on Feb. 6.
