GWA Group (ASX:GWA) reported Monday that its earnings in the fiscal first half fell to AU$0.08 per diluted share, from AU$0.087 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting EPS of AU$0.08.
Sales Revenue for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$209.9 million, down from AU$205.9 million in the same period last year. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected AU$205.4 million.
The supplier of building fixtures and fittings said it expects the Australian market's new office build activity to remain depressed in the fiscal year ending June 30. Residential-detached activity is expected to decrease during the year but improve in fiscal years 2026 and 2027.
The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.075 per share, up from the AU$0.07 in the previous reported period, payable on March 7 to shareholders on record as of Feb. 2.
