Golden Mile Resources (ASX:G88) has awarded a maiden drilling contract to Alford Drilling for two prospects under its Pearl copper project in Arizona, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The program is expected to drill 14 to 16 reverse circulation holes for up to 2,000 meters, the filing said.

The company will begin preparing the drill sites utilizing a local earth-moving contractor after receiving the remaining permits, which is expected imminently. Alford Drilling will then be mobilized on-site to begin the program, the filing added.
