The Boca Raton, Florida-based company said it had net income of 20 cents per share.

The home security company posted revenue of $1.26 billion in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $501 million, or 52 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $4.9 billion.

ADT expects full-year earnings in the range of 77 cents to 85 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $5.03 billion to $5.23 billion.

ADT shares have climbed 9% since the beginning of the year, while the S&P's 500 index has increased 25%. The stock has increased 14% in the last 12 months.
