E.ON's Capex Ramp Up, Networks Businesses Boost Outlook -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
02/26

0829 GMT - E.ON's guidance for 2025 and 2028 came in slightly better than expected, Deutsche Bank analysts James Brand and Olly Jeffery write in a note. The German-based electric utility company expects 2025 adjusted group Ebitda of between 9.6 billion euros and 9.8 billion euros, and for this to exceed 11.3 billion euros in 2028. The improved outlook is due to a quicker ramp up in capital expenditure and better underlying performance from E.ON's broader networks businesses, the analysts write. Capital expenditure guidance from 2024 to 2028 was increased by 1 billion euros to 43 billion euros. Shares trade up 2.9% at 12.41 euros. (adam.whittaker@wsj.com)
