Sun Hing Vision Group (HKG:0125) unit Sun Tat Vietnam Optical procured ALC Construction for the construction work of a new factory premises and ancillary facilities for 32.2 billion dong, a Feb. 28 filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
The construction work, which is taking place in Long An Province, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, is expected to be completed by the end of September.
The glasses and eyewear-related products business intends to establish a self-owned production plant in Vietnam to boost its supply chain capabilities within the region.
