Legacy Iron Ore (ASX:LCY) said drilling at its Mt. Celia gold project in Western Australia intercepted high-grade mineralization, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
It drilled 27 holes totaling 1,032 meters to the north of the Blue Peter 2 pit, to test for strike extension in the mineralized ore structure.
Significant intercepts from drilling included three meters at 5.57 grams-per-tonne of gold from a depth of 12 meters and one meter at 5.29 g/t grade of gold from 16 meters.
The mining firm is set to review drilling results to identify mining potential and down-plunge continuity of mineralization in future drill programs.
