--Seven & i Holdings plans to reject a takeover offer from Canada's Alimentation Couche-Tard, aiming to improve its corporate value on its own, Japanese daily Yomiuri reported Tuesday, without citing sources.

--Seven & i plans to name director Stephen Hayes Dacus as president, replacing Ryuichi Isaka, the Yomiuri report said.
