SKY Network Television (ASX:SKT, NZE:SKT) said the final migration date to new satellite is now set for mid-April, according to a Friday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
Technical enhancements to the current D2 satellite have been deployed, while testing of transponders on the new satellite is ongoing and will continue until the switchover in April, the filing said.
The next phase of testing will continue four to five weeks before the final migration, according to the filing.
Shares fell past 2% in recent Friday trade in New Zealand.
