CMB.TECH (CMBT) said Tuesday it agreed to buy about 81.4 million shares in Golden Ocean (GOGL) from Hemen Holding, representing about 40.8% of Golden Ocean's outstanding shares and votes, at $14.49 per share.

The transaction will not trigger a mandatory takeover bid in any jurisdiction, the company added.
