Alphabet (GOOG) unit Waymo said Tuesday it will start offering round the clock public robotaxi rides to select Waymo One riders across 27 square miles in Silicon Valley, California.

Riders in Mountain View, Los Altos, Palo Alto and parts of Sunnyvale can avail the service starting March 11, Waymo told MT Newswires.

The company said it expects to serve more riders in the region over time.
