Carnegie Clean Energy (ASX:CCE) subsidiary Carnegie Technologies Spain received a milestone payment of 317,945 euros from Ente Vasco de la Energía for its ACHIEVE+ project in Spain, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The project is part of the company's ACHIEVE program, delivering the first deployment of CETO wave energy converter technology in Europe at the Biscay Marine Energy Platform site in the Basque Country, the filing said.
A further 1.8 million euros is expected upon successful completion of the next four project milestones, according to the filing.
Shares rose nearly 3% in afternoon trade Tuesday after earlier hitting an all-time low.
