Samsung Electronics, Nvidia Partner to Advance AI-RAN for Mobile Networks

Samsung Electronics (KRX:005930) partnered with US-based technology firm Nvidia to enhance AI-RAN technologies, the South Korean electronics products maker said Wednesday.

The collaboration will boost Samsung's ecosystem by integrating both the central processing unit and graphics processing unit capabilities.

Samsung plans to integrate its vRAN with Nvidia's computing into commercial off-the-shelf servers, enabling AI-RAN deployment, the release said.
