TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Suspended Ngada Police Chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Pol. (AKBP) Fajar Widyadharma Lukman has been named a suspect in a child sexual abuse and drug use case. He was proven to have committed these offenses after undergoing an investigation at the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta.
Head of the Public Information Bureau of the National Police's Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, stated that the former Ngada Police Chief was found to have violated the police code of ethics. "The suspect is accused of sexually abusing a minor and engaging in intercourse without a legal bond," Truno said during a press conference at the National Police's Public Relations Division in Jakarta on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
Truno emphasized that the National Police would not tolerate the actions of the former Ngada Police Chief. According to him, these actions constitute disgraceful conduct and a serious violation. "The suspect also recorded and distributed his obscene video," said the one-star general.
Before being named a suspect, AKBP Fajar was first reassigned to the National Police’s Administrative Division (Yanma Polri) through a Police Chief Telegram Letter No. ST/489/III/KEP/2025, issued on March 12, 2025. The telegram had already been checked for validity.
Sexual Abuse Chronology
The investigating team from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the East Nusa Tenggara Police stated that there were minors who were victims of alleged sexual abuse by the suspect. The child victim was on the suspect's orders through a woman with the initials F. F agreed to the request and searched for children until she found the victim.
After that, F took the victim to the hotel that Fajar had previously booked. While investigating, the NTT Police went to one of the hotels where the rooms had been booked, it was proven that there was identification, namely the driving license (SIM) belonging to the inactive Ngada Police Chief.
“So it is undeniable that there is a photocopy of a driver's license at the receptionist of one of these hotels, on behalf of FWSL,” said Director of Criminal Investigation of the NTT Regional Police Commissioner Patar Silalahi.
