DigitalX (ASX:DCC) received its bitcoin distribution valued at AU$5.7 million from the administrators of the Mt Gox Exchange, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The settlement follows legal proceedings stemming from the exchange's hacking, in which the company lost 351 bitcoins.
The company has yet to receive about 18.2 million yen from the settlement, which will be converted to Australian dollars and used as working capital once received, the filing said.
The company's shares were up 8% in recent Thursday trade.
