Sembcorp Industries' (SGX:U96) wholly owned subsidiary, Sembcorp Utilities and Sarawak Energy Services entered into a preferred supplier agreement with Prysmian, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Wednesday.
Through the agreement, the two companies will optimize the design, installation methodology and protection requirements of a subsea cable for the import of around 1GW of green electricity from Sarawak to Singapore.
