Patronus Resources (ASX:PTN) extended its on-market takeover bid for Matsa Resources (ASX:MAT) to April 21 from March 24, according to a March 14 filing with the Australian bourse.
As of the filing's date, Patronus and its associates held less than 50% of Matsa's shares on issue. The company's voting power in Matsa was less than 50%.
Matsa Resources' shares were up nearly 2% in recent Monday trade.
