The analyst says that the deal could potentially change the nature of Google's relationships with other partners like Palo Alto Networks, which has its own cloud security offerings that compete directly with Wiz. Patil adds that Google emphasized the acquisition will make cybersecurity more accessible and simpler for all types of organizations, regardless of business size or vertical.
