Perpetual Resources (ASX:PEC) found the presence of high-grade lithium at the recently acquired Renaldinho project in Brazil following fieldwork activities, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
High-grade spodumene assays returned up to 3.71% lithium oxide. Seven of the 30 samples returned over 1% lithium oxide, the filing stated.
The Ronaldinho project is one of the three exploration licenses secured in February. With the latest results, the presence of high-grade spodumene is confirmed on two of the three licenses, with exploration set to begin on the third, per the filing.
