Build King (HKG:0240) recorded a decline in attributable profit for 2024 to HK$434 million from HK$473.5 million in the year-ago period, a March 21 filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

Basic earnings per share was HK$0.349 in the year, down from HK$0.381 in the previous year.

The construction company's revenue from services rose by 15% to HK$14.4 billion in the year from HK$12.5 billion a year prior.

The firm attributed the lower profit mainly to a decline in gross profit.

The company has proposed a final dividend of HK$0.075 per ordinary share and a special dividend of HK$0.06 per ordinary share for the year.
