ASP Isotopes shares rose 8.6% after the company said it commenced commercial production of enriched Silicon-28 at a facility in South Africa.
Shares were trading around $4.55 in morning trading. The stock is up 5.8% over the last year.
The Washington-based development-stage advanced-materials company said Thursday it believes its finished product will be of a higher quality and may be used by semiconductor companies without the need for additional chemical-conversion processes.
