MicroAlgo (MLGO) said Monday that it plans to issue new shares at $0.8 per share to fulfill a debt obligation.

This move comes after a $20 million convertible bond purchase agreement signed with creditors on Oct. 7, featuring a 360-day maturity period.

Shares rose 321% intraday as trading volume catapulted to over 246.3 million from a daily average of about 16.2 million.

President Donald Trump is likely to exclude certain sectors from a slate of tariffs scheduled to take effect on April 2, media outlets reported over the weekend. He reportedly said on Friday that there is "flexibility" in his plans for reciprocal tariffs.

Shares of Tesla (TSLA) advanced 10%, with intraday trading volume rising to more than 115 million compared with a daily average of about 90 million.

CNBC reported Sunday that Ant Group is using a combination of Chinese and US-made chips -- from Advance Micro Devices (AMD), Huawei, and Alibaba (BABA) -- to train its artificial intelligence models and lessen its reliance on Nvidia (NVDA).

Shares of AMD climbed 7.1% as intraday trading volume was more than 34.3 million from a daily average of roughly 37.9 million.
