1010 GMT - The Bank of England is likely to maintain its plans for a gradual pace of interest rate cuts as U.K. economic data remain volatile, Nomura analysts say in a note. Figures Wednesday showed U.K. annual headline and core inflation eased modestly in February to 2.8% and 3.5% respectively. However, annual services inflation remained elevated at 5%. Volatile U.K. economic data "underscores the need for, as the BOE puts it, 'a gradual and careful approach to the further withdrawal of monetary policy restraint'," the analysts say.
