Australia's ASIC, RBA take actions on ASX's CHESS batch settlement failure

March 31 (Reuters) - The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and the Reserve Bank of Australia $(RBA)$ took further steps regarding their concerns over the management of operational risk at bourse operator ASX ASX.AX, the securities regulator said on Monday.

The concerns follow a batch settlement failure incident at the ASX's clearing and settlement software, CHESS in December.
