HI Mobility (KLSE:HI) secured a deal worth 135 million ringgit to serve as the network operator for the intra-city bus service in Johor Baru and surrounding areas.

The deal was awarded by Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat under the Stage Bus Service Transformation Program, according to a Thursday Malaysian bourse filing.

The project will have a term of two years, until March 30, 2027, the bus transportation services provider said.

The deal will contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the company.
