Enovis has hired Damien McDonald to succeed Matt Trerotola as chief executive of the medical-technology company.
Enovis on Wednesday said McDonald, who most recently served as CEO of medical-device company LivaNova, takes the helm of the Wilimington, Del., company on May 12 and will also join the board.
Enovis in February said Trerotola, who has been CEO since 2015, was planning to retire.
The company on Wednesday said Trerotola, who is currently chairman, won't stand for re-election to the board at the annual shareholder meeting on May 21 and that Sharon Wienbar, who has served as lead independent director since May 2023, will become independent board chair.
Enovis said McDonald, 60 years old, will receive an annual base salary of $1 million and an annual bonus with a target of 125% of his base pay.
