Emperor Energy (ASX:EMP) submitted an environmental plan to the National Offshore Petroleum Safety Environmental Management Authority for approval to drill the Judith-2 appraisal well offshore Gippsland Basin in Victoria, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The plan outlines drilling activities, potential environmental impacts, and mitigation measures, prepared in collaboration with the company's technical advisers, the filing said.
The company plans to start drilling in mid-2026, according to the filing.
